2. Data protection officer

We have not appointed a data protection officer because there is no legal obligation to do so.

3. What data we process

If you write to us using the form on this website or by email, we process the details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, your message and the details of your property. We use them to deal with your enquiry and to contact you. To protect against misuse, we store a non-reversible hash value of the IP address with each enquiry.

The rent calculator only works in your browser. What you enter there is not transmitted to us unless you transfer it to the form yourself and send it.

4. Legal basis

Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiating and performing a brokerage contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries and in protecting the website).

5. Cookies

This website does not set cookies, does not store anything on your device and does not use any third-party analytics or advertising services. That is why there is no cookie banner.

6. Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted on our own server in Germany (data centre of Hetzner Online GmbH). Fonts, images and videos are also served from there; no content is loaded from third-party servers. The details you enter in the form are transmitted in encrypted form to our own office software. When you visit the website, the server processes technically necessary access data (IP address, date, time, page visited, browser type). This data is not combined with other data and is deleted after 7 days at the latest.

7. Disclosure of data

We only pass on your data where this is necessary for the brokerage, where there is a legal basis or where third parties involved have a legitimate interest. Possible recipients include other parties involved in the transaction (for example the lawyer or notary drafting the contract, financing partners, insurers), our service providers (for example IT, tax advice, legal representation) and public authorities. We never pass on your data for advertising purposes. No automated decision-making (profiling) takes place.

8. Storage period

We store your data for as long as is necessary to deal with your enquiry and any brokerage, and beyond that only where statutory retention obligations apply.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, please write to office@mueldenberg.com.

10. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that the processing of your data infringes data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
